Unfortunately for Buescher, an electrical control unit problem hampered his race at Chicago before it even began. Despite this setback, the RFK Racing driver managed to finish on the lead lap in 18th place.
Bell had a challenging outing at Chicago, ending up a lap down in 24th after his engine blew on the final lap. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver hasn’t managed to break into the top 15 in his last three races.
Reddick appears to be regaining his form, finishing fourth at Pocono and third at Chicago in his last two races. Prior to this, he had only four top-five finishes in 17 previous races.
Bowman faced some tough moments, including being spun and having a gritty clash with Bubba Wallace, yet he emerged from the race in eighth place. This marks his third top 10 finish in the last four races. destination top
Preece delivered a solid seventh-place finish at the road course, demonstrating his strength with five top 10 finishes over his last eight races.
This past weekend was one to forget for Byron, who wrecked during practice and then faced clutch issues on the opening lap at Chicago. With only one lap completed, he may wish to quickly erase this race from memory.
Blaney finished 12th at Chicago. While not ideal, finishing on the lead lap was a small victory, especially considering the season’s challenges faced by the Penske driver.
A late wreck during practice set Elliott back, and issues with his car’s front fascia hindered his performance. He ultimately finished in 16th place.
Like his Hendrick teammates, Larson had to deal with repairs on Sunday after sustaining damage on Saturday. He started at the back and ended up in 13th after a spin in the race.
Hamlin, not typically known for his road course prowess, showed remarkable skill by recovering from a difficult starting position of 40th, following an engine failure during his practice session, to secure a fourth place finish.
